Castaic Elementary School

Founded in 2003, Northlake Hills Elementary School enrolls more than 800 students and offers classes from grades kindergarten through five. The school teaches various subjects, including math, science and technology, language arts, computer science, health education, English, social studies, fine arts, vocal and instrumental music, and physical education. It lays emphasis on enhancing the writing, reading and language skills of students. The school provides other facilities, such as transportation, and daily food service. It also has a fully equipped library and media center that has a large collection of books on various subjects. The school s parent-teacher association caters to the needs of students and participates in various school events.
