Castle Rock Charter School

Castle Rock Charter School is an educational institution that offers a range of academic and recreational options for the social, intellectual, emotional and physical development of students in kindergarten through grade 12. Founded in 2001, the school maintains a work force of more than 25 employees, including teachers and support staff members. Castle Rock Charter School is a part of the Del Norte County Unified School District, which governs several middle, high and elementary schools. The district is spread over an area of nearly 1,000 square miles and enrolls approximately 4,000 students.

Del Norte High School enrolls more than 1,000 students in grades 9 through 12. The school provides instructional services in music, art, foreign languages, dance, industrial arts, and technology and physical education. It also offers special education classes and counseling services. The school operates through a staff of over 50 teachers. Del Norte High School provides educational programs in a range of subjects, such as English, social studies, mathematics and science. It maintains a school site council. Del Norte High School s sports activities include baseball, golf, tennis, softball, and track and field. The school is governed by the Del Norte County Unified School District, which operates elementary, middle and high schools.
