Cesar Chavez Elementary School is a part of the Montebello Unified School District, which serves more than 35,000 students and over 30,000 adult learners. The school district operates more than 20 elementary schools, over five intermediate schools and several high and adult schools. Cesar Chavez Elementary School promotes physical fitness of the students through several athletic activities, such as basketball and cheerleading. Its academic syllabus includes English, language arts, math, science and social studies. Cesar Chavez Elementary School also provides classes in media, physical education and fine arts. In addition, the elementary school conducts various safety awareness programs. It is located in Bell Gardens, Calif.
