Established in 1990, the Children s Discovery Museum of San Jose occupies more than 52,000 square feet of space. The museum offers educational and learning programs for children, families and schools. It operates an early learning laboratory that includes puppets, books and child-sized kaleidoscope for children up to the age of 4. The Children s Discovery Museum of San Jose s trained staff provides assistance with the development of emotional, motor and cognitive skills. The museum s facility features more than 10 exhibit galleries and program space that offer learning experiences in the areas of arts, sciences and humanities. In addition, it organizes family science nights that provide hands-on science experiences to promote inquiry-based technical education.
