The Community Development Resource Agency is governed by the County of Placer in California, which maintains air pollution, public works, community health, economic development, information technology and flood control departments. It maintains a planning department that provides natural resource preservation and permit evaluation solutions, as well as guides land use patterns and activities. The Community Development Resource Agency operates a building department that conducts on-site inspections and issues building permits. The agency s engineering and surveying department handles land development and utility construction projects, reviews final maps, processes grading permits and assigns road names.
