College Hospital Cerritos

Founded in 1973 and located in Cerritos, Ca., College Hospital is a 125-bed acute psychiatric hospital serving the community of Los Angeles County. The hospital provides a continuum of psychiatric health care services as per the needs of its patients and their family. It offers a wide range of programs and services, including geriatric program, Latino, partial hospitalization, adolescent and pediatric program. Its geriatric program fosters to the needs of adults 60 years and above who have a psychiatric disorder and need stabilization. It provides evaluation by a medical doctor, including a complete physical examination, review of all laboratory work and X-rays, and consultation on the treatment of physical health problems during the course of the patient's stay. The hospital also offers partial hospitalization program that provides services to mental health consumers and their families suffering from depression, suicide, ideations, anxiety, delusions, vocational impairment, hallucinations, and alcohol and drug addition.
