A true speakeasy should have some element of danger. How about getting an Uber to a sketchy neighborhood, after dark, on a street lined with tents on the off chance that this nondescript building...

Is this place even open? Made reservations for 9/1 @ 7:00 pm. Got a text earlier in the day to confirm. Got to the door at 6:58. It was locked. Waited for about 10 mins and decided to leave....
