HistoryShipShape is a partnership between Deborah Silberberg and Sylvia Borchert. Deborah Silberberg started working with individual clients 25 years ago. Initially, she focused on bookkeeping and financial management. However, being a problem solver at heart, she soon found herself offering additional services like organizing a closet or a garage, setting up a filing system, or helping with a move. Sylvia Borchert joined the company in 1994, bringing an extensive background in event planning. Together they have expanded ShipShape into a full-service organizing consulting company, with offices in Oakland and New York. They work with a team of professionals with varied backgrounds in areas such as art, catering, computers, design, and office management.
