Cummings Trucking LLC was started in 2004 after the owner, Jerry Cummings, read about the driver shortage in the trucking industry. Jerry, who was 25 at the time, knew very little about running a trucking company. He heard opinions from many of how hard it was dealing with paperwork and regulations. But after a bit of research, and some positive feedback from associates, he decided to take a chance. And in July of 2004, Cummings Trucking was established.
