History

David Zeligson started Deluxe Dog Concierge in an effort to spend more time with animals and include them in his work. Starting with his formal education in psychology and sociology, he became keenly interested in the humor and joy people experience through animals as well as the strong emotional bonds people form with their pets. After more than 15 years leading corporate education departments at large financial institutions, he changed career focus to launch Deluxe Dog Concierge.

Deluxe Dog Concierge is a premier San Diego pet care service based in UTC/La Jolla. We provide dog walking, pet sitting, pet transport and personal errand services for your pet-centric family, which includes your cats and other pet species. For more active dogs, we enjoy going on high-energy (aerobic) dog walks plus outings to dog parks, dog beaches and on local hikes. For our cat clients, we make home visits which include mealtime/treats, engaging playtime and kitty litter freshening and clean-up. We also mount pet celebrations such as birthday parties, blessing of animals and bark mitzvahs. Our mission is simple: To keep our pet clients happy, healthy and safe at all times.
