History

Doug Demattei Drywall began with an emphasis on high quality, custom drywall finishing. Plaster repair and restoration, as well as color and surface design consulting, have evolved alongside my original core services as my emphasis on design aesthetics has grown.

I specialize in the restoration, repair, and finishing of drywall and plaster interior surfaces, with an emphasis on texture matching and smooth or stippled surfaces. I offer techniques that enable me to blend repairs (such as those from plumbing and electrical work), closely approximating the surface and, if needed, the color of wall or ceiling areas. Holes, dents, damage from removed wall or ceiling fixtures, damage from removed wallpaper - I offer a variety of repair and aesthetic solutions to these issues. I also offer color consultation services in the form of - new color selection for walls and ceilings; color matching for repair areas; advice on accent colors and trim.
