Doula Petra

History

When I was 15 years old my calling to support new moms began. I took care of my nephew as a newborn and shared with him one room, gave him the bottle, changed him, and put him back to sleep. Memories of these nights with little Chris are very dear to me. My professional career started as a customer consultant in a financial institution in Germany where I worked for ten years. During this time I served tourists on a family owned day boat on weekends. Moving to the U.S. had always been my childhood dream and, in 2011 this dream finally came true. As Vice-President, I ran an importing wine business in San Francisco for seven years until 2018. As sole owner, I founded Doula Petra LLC in 2019 to assist families with their newborns. I am a proud member of the Bay Area Night Doulas Association.
