Graduated from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, Elena Mashkovtseva has served as the acting principal harp with the San Diego Symphony, and the principal harpist for Orchestra Nova, Baja California Orchestra. She performed with the National Symphony Orchestra of Russia, the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, at the Bolshoi Theatre and on the National Radio and Television Orchestra of Moscow. Elena also appears frequently as a member of the chamber music ensemble Camarada. Elena teaches harp out of her home studio in San Diego, CA. As a professional musician on stage, in the studio, as a soloist and a private instructor, Elena brings over 25 years of experience to every event.
