History

Ron and Paula Fagundes purchased the shop from Derl Abts in 2000. Derl had been running a repair shop at this location since 1957 and was ready to retire. It was important to Derl to have someone with the same passion for the car repair business as he had and Ron fit the profile. From 2011-2022, Fagundes' 10th Street Garage was voted Best of Tracy for Automotive Service & Repair by local customers voting in Tracy Press. Beginning in 2022, FTSG has transitioned to a classics-only specialty shop, servicing (by appointment only) domestic made (USA) vehicles from 1955-1975,

We are now by Appointment ONLY. Attention Customers: Beginning 2022, FTSG has made the decision to service only Domestic made (USA) vehicles between the 1955-1975 model years. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause if you are a previous customer with a '76-newer model year vehicle. We appreciate the countless customers and many years of loyalty and hope that you will continue to support us as we transition into a classics-only specialty shop.
