The Forebay Aquatic Center is a jewel in Butte County: still water, golden hills, easy access. Part of the Lake Oroville SRA, we sit alongside the swim beach and rent stand-up paddle boards, canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, hydrobikes, and inflatables. We also rent windsurf boards and sailboats to qualified users. Additional programs include sailing and rowing clubs, SUP Yoga and SUP Fitness classes, recreational and educational school field trips, Aquatic and Rowing Camps for kids, and special events hosting - retirements/birthdays/reunions, etc. We focus on Aquatic and Boating Safety in a FUN environment, providing a safe environment for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy the cool water of the Thermalito North Forebay. We are operated by the Feather River Center, a non-profit offering educational and recreational programs to our residents and visitors.
