La Ballona Elementary School serves more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade five. It offers classes in various subjects, such as mathematics, science and history. The school also provides educational classes for students with special needs. La Ballona Elementary School has a staff of over 20 teachers. La Ballona Elementary School offers a variety of extracurricular activities and manages a student council and parent-teacher association. The school works in association with STAR (Science Theater Art Recreation) Education to provide after-school programs for students. In addition, it organizes spelling bee and writing competitions, as well as dance and music shows. La Ballona Elementary School is a part of the Culver City School District.
