History

In coming to Marin 15 years ago, my first job was with a medium-sized High end Residential Builder as a Project Manager; I have a degree in Construction Management from CSU, Chico, this opened the door and once inside the business I began to see a great deal of waste, non-sustainable practices and decisions that were being made that did not match my values. So, like many young entrepreneurial sorts I got my General Contractors License and here I am, six years later and being my own boss and getting to make tons of design decisions, be more 'hands'on' and thus controlling the quality of the project from the home in lieu of a desk & far removed from the day-to-day operations. 80% of our biz is in the custom residential area with the remainder in commercial TI work...you can see my webpage @ www.gecoconstruction.net for some of our craftsmanship & review YELP to see what our customers have said about us!

From thought to finish we place emphasis on Sustainable Building, using what products we can from local sources; shopping local means tax dollars go back to your community! Much of our work is 'design-build', but Architects & Designers are welcome. Specializing in: Design building, kitchen remodeling, master suite additions, garage makeovers, project management, outbuilding, custom home remodeling, backyard bungalows, mother-in-law units.
