Orbits Lightwave s lasers are housed in an athermal packaging. The company manufactures a PS-3 intelligent low-noise power supply that controls and monitors operation of the laser using an internal microcontroller. The development of its technology is supported by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency and NASA. The company has a portfolio of intellectual properties that includes technology licensed by the California Institute of Technology.
