SpecialtiesDr. Ashish Vashisht graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1997 as a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), where he also received the Western Canada Dental Society Scholarship and Quintessence Publishing Award. Following this, he completed the General Practice Residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, where he was awarded Resident of the Year and the American Association of Hospital Dentists' Biotene Award for Excellence in Hospital Dentistry. Dr. Ash was in private practice with his father in Vancouver, Canada for 15 years, where he also served as Clinical Instructor to senior dental students at the University of British Columbia Faculty of Dentistry. He concurrently held staff positions in the Dept. of Dentistry, Vancouver General Hospital and Dept. of Surgery, St. Paul's Hospital. In 2006, Dr. Ash was appointed Director of Outreach Services with Maple Healthcare, where he co-ordinated charitable services provided by foreign dentists for orphanages in Vietnam. Two years later, he co-founded Westcoast International Dental Clinics, overseeing an international group of dentists in Saigon and Hanoi. In 2012, he joined Asia Healthcare Dental Surgeons on Orchard Road, Singapore, co-ordinating and providing complex treatments for patients from the region. Dr. Ash is licensed to practice by the Dental Board of California, Washington State Department of Health, College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia, Singapore Dental Council and Vietnam Ministry of Health.
