Established in 1890, Hollenbeck Palms is an independent, nonprofit retirement community providing independent, assisted and residential living, and skilled nursing care services. Its facilities includes beauty salons, pharmacies, library, learning and computer centers, ice-cream parlors, gyms, billiards, hobby and crafts rooms, a chapel and greenhouse. It provides skilled nursing care services and services, including 24-hour registered nurses, custodial care, and physical, occupational, speech, respiratory and intravenous therapies. It also offers pain management and psychiatric services. The community also has an Alzheimer's disease unit providing services for functionally and cognitively disabled residents.
