Holy Virgin Mary and Saint Pishoy Church, established in 1974, is the second Coptic Orthodox church in California, initially serving a congregation of about fifty families from nearby neighborhoods. Over the years, the church has expanded significantly, accommodating the growing community through various services, educational programs, and the construction of a new building completed in the late 1980s.

The church is adorned with 93 invaluable Coptic icons and has been a center for worship and community activities, supported by dedicated clergy and volunteers.
