For more than 30 years, Ventana Wildlife Society focuses to conserve native wildlife and their habitats in California. Located at, Monterey, Calif., the organization conducts a number of programs, such as summer camps, condor camp, nature classes and single day adventure programs. Additionally, it organizes discovery center visit, condor sanctuary visit, song bird tours and more for adults. The society is responsible for species recovery project, including reintroduction of Bald Eagle to Central California and works on restoring endangered Condors. It also conducts research/monitoring of bird population through bird banding station.
