La Honda Elementary School is a part of the Lompoc Unified School District, which operates over 15 elementary, middle and high schools. The school provides educational services to students in kindergarten through grade five. It conducts classes in language arts, math, science and social studies. It offers a variety of activities, such as art, music, and physical and technical education. La Honda Elementary School operates garden, photography, dance and drama clubs. The school also offers Title 1 and English Language Learners programs. It provides special education classes for gifted and talented students. In addition, it operates a parent-teacher association that conducts fundraising activities and special events, including family nights and holiday parties. The school provides food, transportation, guidance counseling and health care. La Honda Elementary School is located in Lompoc, Calif.
