History

Soussan Kooshadpour is a graduate of the Iranian National Music School in Tehran, Iran. She has been a researcher in music for 43 years with an emphasis in the styles of Classical European and traditional Persian Folk music. Mrs. Kooshadpour's long and impressive dedication to music education started at the age of 20 with no more than five students at the time and a dream to polish the creative pursuits of many more around her. From then on, she would soon find the opportunity to embark on a journey to artistically expand the creative passions of the youth in Tehran, Los Angeles... and beyond.

Specialties

Soussan Kooshadpour teaches private lessons that may range from a duration of 30 minutes, 60 minutes, or 120 minutes depending on the the student's needs in music education. Although her main focus is teaching the piano, Mrs. Kooshadpour also offers courses in her eclectic knowledge of instruments such as the tar, Persian setar, the Santour, and voice training.
