Casa del Sol Mental Health Department offers programs that are designed to protect children, strengthen individuals and families, and improve emotional and mental health of people struggling with difficult challenges. It works in partnership with individual supporters, foundations, businesses, faith communities and government agencies. The center employs a diverse group of full- and part-time staff, professional consultants, certified therapists and volunteers. Casa del Sol Mental Health Department also provides school-based and medication services. In addition, it offers an alcohol and drug treatment program. Casa del Sol Mental Health Department provides multi-systematic, filial and functional family therapies. Located in Oakland, Calif., it is a part of La Cl nica de La Raza.
