We are a crew of Bay Area locals, who have seen the changing tide of the Oakland landscape and have lived to tell about it! Born and raised, we are also inviting our local friends to share about their experiences and to get the local narrative of the multicultural experience, which is as varied and nuanced as California weather! We host a taco tour, Chinatown tour and Black Oakland tour

Our tours showcase some of our favorite Black-Owned restaurants, chef-recommended dishes to try, and a bit of history about the restaurant and city where the tour is taking place. We invite you to come along with us as we explore the culinary wonders of Black food in our home town and beyond!
