Lauri Neidell, MFT

History

My work is grounded in over 20 years of experience as a professional psychotherapist. I received my master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies and trained extensively in how to help people untangle the complex issues of trauma and childhood abuse. I am certified in EMDR and Somatic Experiencing, two body-based techniques for the treatment of trauma. I also studied for 8 years in depth at the Ridhwan/Diamond Heart School where I was taught how to work with one's psychological issues as a doorway to one's deeper nature. The depth of understanding about what it really takes to heal oneself and live a meaningful, fulfilling life that I discovered here - is an inseparable part of what I offer to my clients.

Specialties

I specialize in helping people build loving & sustainable relationships, heal emotional wounding, strengthen self-esteem. In addition, based on my personal experience I help singles find life partners and individuals & couples address issues of fertility and/or adoption.
