I give a very deep massage that doesn't feel deep, because I use the larger surface area of my hands and forearms and also because I go slowly with my strokes, esp. over tense areas of the body (knots). I work very hard, but it doesn't hurt! I give new clients a very conservative massage, unless the client specifically tells me,
