Mark Day School

Saint Mark's School is an independent, nonsectarian, coeducational, elementary school that serves students in grades kindergarten through eight. The school enrolls more than 350 students and is located in San Rafael, Calif. It provides an interactive learning environment through hands-on exhibits and emphasizes on reading, creative writing and communication skills. The school s curriculum includes English, language arts, history, mathematics, science and foreign languages. Additionally, it offers courses in art, physical education, philosophy, graphics and animation art, family and consumer science, and computers and technology education. Saint Mark's School also provides the Renaissance program, and organizes various extracurricular activities, such as art, instrumental music, dance, band and choir. The school has a library that provides a large collection of curriculum books, referral sources, internet search tools and children s story books.
