History
In 2007 our Founder, Tony Johnson, started teaching martial arts in Rohnert Park through the Recreation Department while still managing his teacher's studio in Sonoma. In 2009, Tony went full time in Rohnert Park to enable the school to grow faster, and the school was officially founded under the name Martial Arts Academy. In September of 2012 we opened our own custom facility, but we have now completely outgrown it. Now, in September of 2015, we have repartnered with the City of Rohnert Park (we are now a non-profit corporation), and are teaching at several facilities that are large enough to hold our growing student body here in Rohnert Park, primarily at the Burton Ave. Rec Center right next to Tech Middle School, 7421 Burton Ave.
