McKay's Taphouse & Beer Garden

Great atmosphere and staff are all very friendly! Beers are good. The giant pretzel is $$ but a must to go with tasty beer. Definite return visit.

Let's start by saying that this is not my first choice for a Friday night social engagement. Mostly because I don't like crowds, downtown hangouts, open seating, food with live music, loud music...

It was our first time visiting, and finding the place was a bit tricky at first. There's a small seating area out front, but the main entrance is actually around the left side of the building....

Have been here a few times. Chill vibe. They also regularly have cool bands playing in the back part.

Food is fantastic. New menu items (like the grilled bone marrow pictured) are unbelievable. And Original Pattern Brewing is always on tap which is a huge plus. Josh & Co. are wonderful people. A...
