Mitama is the best sushi in Oakland area. Super fresh and lots of fish from Japan. High quality and does not disappoint. My only gripe is it can be slow at times, but it is worth it.

If you're in the Elmwood and you have a choice between Mitama on College and Manpuku on College. Go to Mitama. Mitama is located in the spot of the old Buttercup Bakery at College and Alcatraz....

Solid spot in our neighborhood - we got a sushi set, chirashi, and two rolls. Everything tasted good and the food came out very quickly!
