HistoryIn September 2010, the Rotary Club of Redwood City and the Sheriff's Activities League sponsored a fundraiser for the creation of a youth digital arts center in Redwood City which raised over $65,000. Five months later, Fresh Takes, Inc was founded as a 501 (c) 3 non-profit by executive director Pete Liebengood who signed a 5-year lease for a 1,700 square foot studio space in the historic Fox Theatre building. The facility features a state-of-the-art computer lab, green-screen station and a high-end recording studio. As a result, Fresh Takes is dedicated to being a community resource by contributing productions to other non-profits, government and educational entities. Fresh Takes kids produced: two anti-bullying PSA's for the Young Dreamer Network, a marketing video for the Sheriff's Activities League, an anniversary video for Redwood City Parks and Rec, RecTV commercials for the Rotary Club's Farmers Market and the Fox Theatre and many more!SpecialtiesFresh Takes offers a wide variety of classes and workshops at an affordable price year round.
