Nancy Love, MD

Happy. This one word summarizes Dr. Love's demeanor and approach to medicine. Raised in both Orange County and Guadalajara, Mexico, Dr. Love is thrilled to be back in Orange County and doing what she loves to do - practicing medicine and helping people. Her inspiration to become a physician is attributed to her mother, a family physician, and her experience volunteering at the Red Cross. A strong believer in preventative medicine and integrative medicine, Dr. Love approaches each patient with these goals in mind. She chose to be an internal medicine physician as she enjoys working with the entire body and using a combination of techniques to address her patients' needs. Rather than only focus on the medical issue at hand, Dr. Love also explores other areas such as healthy nutrition and proper lifestyle behavior to make an impact with each patient. As Dr. Loves states it best, "I love helping my patients and making a difference in their lives. Hoag Medical Group allows me to put patient care first and provide my patients with quality healthcare." Dr. Love earned her medical degree from Autonomous University of Guadalajara in Mexico and completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Southern California (USC). Prior to joining Hoag Medical Group, Dr. Love served as an assistant clinical professor at USC and attending physician at two Los Angeles-based hospitals. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Love is newly married and a lover of all animals. She spends her time outside of work running, cycling and playing the piano.
