Nicolle S Underwood, MD -Pacific Women's Healthcare Associates

Dr. Nicolle Underwood joined the group on February 1, 2017 and practices out of our Newport Beach and Irvine offices. A native of Santa Monica, CA, Dr. Underwood is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. After more than a decade of medical training and practice on the East Coast, she is excited to return to Southern California. After graduating from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA, and obtaining a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Underwood completed her medical training at one of the busiest obstetrics/gynecology hospitals in New York - St. Lukes-Roosevelt in Manhattan, where she had the honor of being named chief resident. After residency, Dr. Underwood joined a private obstetrics/gynecology practice on Manhattans Upper West Side, where she guided hundreds of women through all stages of the birthing process. She is highly proficient with all key modern obstetric/gynecologic technologies and techniques and was named Assistant Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at Mount Sinai West hospital in Manhattan in 2015. After giving birth to her own first child in 2015, Dr. Underwood decided it was time to return to her native Southern California. She is tremendously excited to work with the other exceptional doctors at PACWHA.
