Dr. Crystal J. Jicha is a board-certified UCI Health neurologist who specializes in headaches and facial pain disorders, including migraines, cluster headaches, occipital neuralgia, trigeminal neuralgia, low- and high-pressure headaches.She is skilled in treatment procedures that include nerve blocks, trigger point injections, sphenopalatine ganglion blocks and Botox.Jicha earned her medical degree at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington. She completed a residency in neurology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York City, where she served as chief resident. She then completed fellowship training in headache and facial pain at Montefiore Medical Center.Her research and professional interests include women's health, patient advocacy and healthcare for underserved populations.
