HistoryIn 1971 Cardea Institute (formerly, James Bowman Associates) was incorporated as a for-profit, small business. Cardea Services (formerly Center for Health Training) was established in 1977 as a private non-profit organization providing similar services. Cardea Services is now a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization.
