At first it was just a hobby of sorts. Then in 1987, Paulo, Andre and Ricardo began competing in the American Motorcycle Association (AMA) District 37. It wasn't long before trophies piled up and their love of racing grew into a business. Shortly after in 1989, Three Brothers Racing opened its doors to begin selling all brands of used motorcycles, dirt bikes, all terrain vehicles and accessories. Soon a service department opened with certified technicians to prep and repair bikes for all of its customers. Nine years later in 1998, Three Brothers Racing became an exclusive KTM franchise in southern California. KTM's Austrian bikes were relatively unknown in the US at that time but the Brothers were convinced it was one of the best motorcycle brands in the world.
