Pacific Merchant Shipping Association

The Pacific Maritime Association negotiates and administers maritime labor agreements with the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU). Its clients include more than 70 cargo carriers, terminal operators and stevedore representatives throughout the United States. The association employs more than 15,000 registered workers in over 25 West Coast ports in the states of California, Oregon and Washington. The Pacific Maritime Association maintains a location in Long Beach, Calif.
