History
Robert began his adult life by joining the US Navy. In August 2012, his whole world was turned upside down when his father fell victim to Veteran Suicide. He left the military under honorable conditions to come home and help his mom piece their lives back together. In the Spring of 2013, he went back to school and start a whole new path for his life. He attended Columbia College in Columbia, CA studying Forestry and Natural Resources. This was a big turn in his life and he really fell in love with nature. He was offered a position with the Bureau of Land Management working in Wildlife, Fisheries, Watershed Surveys, as well as Timber, and Silviculture. It was not long before he worked his way up and started Wildland Firefighting as well. During this time, he learned and perfected his skill for felling large hazardous trees. Sometimes on fire. Peffer's Tree Service supports Veterans Suicide Awareness with donations to Active Heroes on behalf of his father, Douglas James Peffer.
