Dr. King joined PersonalCare Physicians in 2013. Dr. King believes great care starts with listening carefully to her patients and understanding their backgrounds. Understanding is key to developing life-long relationships with her patients and their families - it defines what is healthy and happy for them. Healthcare should harmonize fitness, nutrition and medicine; it should never be one-size-fits-all. Personalcare Physicians is a concierge medical practice that enables exceptional physicians to spend more time focusing on delivery of the highest quality care to patients who value their health. Personalcare Physicians' members pay an annual fee to their physicians in exchange for same- or next-day appointments, 24x7 access to their physician via cell phone and email, unhurried exams and consultations, and a customized, proactive wellness program. The annual fees enable Personalcare Physicians affiliated doctors to reduce their patient load to no more than 350 member patients, as opposed to the typical 2,500 of a non-concierge physician. As a result, they are able to allocate the appropriate attention to each patient in order to optimize their members' health; they can spend more quality time with each patient and run preventative tests aimed at catching potential issues before they become problems
