Providence Southern California has built a broad range of community benefit programs serving the elderly, the uninsured, our immigrants, school children and those with mental illnesses. Our Community Health office in Torrance offers assistance with the Community Health Insurance Program (CHIP). CHIP provides a team of bilingual (English/Spanish) community health workers who advise consumers on public programs they are eligible for and help them enroll into a suitable health plan, including Cal-Fresh, Covered CA and Medi-Cal.
