History

My name is Heather Scott and I founded Purple Plant Smoothies in San Francisco in 2011. We started as a smoothie cart at farmers markets, serving people 3-4 days a week. By being at the markets, I had the opportunity to meet many of the local farmers selling their produce there. This is how I became so passionate about supporting them, through the service of our smoothie blends. This is what ultimately led to our commitment to sourcing all of our produce from local, organic famers and our seasonal menus. We aspire to be the leading smoothie offering available, through the support of local organic farmers.
