The Redwood Empire Chinese Association (RECA) was established in 1988 to address the limited opportunities for Chinese and Asian immigrants in Sonoma County to connect with their community and preserve their cultural heritage. RECA organizes various events and activities, including picnics, potluck socials, and Chinese New Year festivals, to introduce the local communities to Chinese arts, culture, food, and entertainment.
