She completed a residency in general dentistry at University of Illinois at Chicago then went on to complete her Pediatric Dentistry residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr Golla is a Diplomate member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, member of the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Derick Wang, DMD is Redwood Smiles resident orthodontist. He received his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania and completed his residency education at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Wang is a strong proponent of Phase I orthodontic treatment in younger patients which helps prevent them from needing tooth extractions and surgery later in life. He is most passionate about improving peoples self-esteem by giving them great smiles which is what drew him to the profession. Dr Wang treats patients of all ages and will customize treatment to meet each patient's individual needs. When hes not busy creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Wang enjoys spending his time with his wife and toddler, traveling, reading and cooking.
