Ridgeview High School

Established in 1994, Ridgeview High School provides a curriculum for students in grades 9 through 12. It offers honors and advanced placement courses in math, English, science and social studies. The school also offers tutorial assistance on weekdays. It additionally provides special and vocational education and regional occupation programs. The school s technology program offers information on graphic arts, keyboarding, computer applications and Web design. Its fine arts classes include drama, creative arts, ceramics, instrumental and choral music, forensics, digital photography and commercial art. Ridgeview High School also offers an array of athletic activities, such as basketball, golf, soccer, cross country, tennis, football and wrestling. Located in Bakersfield, Calif., the school features more than 100 certified employees and has an enrollment of over 2,500 students.
