S F City & County Community Behavioral Health Services

A&PI Wellness Center, founded in 1987, educates, supports and advocates for the Asian and Pacific Islander communities, particularly those suffering from HIV and AIDS. It is a nonprofit service organization and provides free and confidential HIV treatment case management. It also provides mental health and substance abuse counseling, on-site primary medical and psychiatric care, client and treatment advocacy and group and individual support. Its clients are often immigrants and refugees and the staff speaks many Asian languages. It reaches its clients through community organizing and outreach, workshops and support groups, peer counseling and prevention case management. A&PI Wellness Center is located in San Francisco.
