Community Interface Services, established in 1983, is a nonprofit organization that provides training services, support and advocacy for adults with developmental disabilities. Developmental disabilities include seizure disorder, mental retardation, autism, cerebral palsy and other similar qualifying conditions. Community Interface Services also provides community based services, which emphasize improvement in the quality of individuals' lives through maximizing independence and community inclusion. Community living services are also designed to assist persons with developmental disabilities to live independently in the community with the supports they need. Community Interface Services is located in Carlsbad, Calif.
