The cabins are nice but hard to make reservations since they hold for prior guests. The little cafe is quaint and has great food.

The Silver Lake Resort is a complete summer resort on the shore of Silver Lake outside of June Lake, Calif. The resort is hidden amid hundreds of aspen, with Alger Creek flowing through the property, a trout pond and secluded bridges. The resort offers an old-fashioned general store, gift shop, caf , cabin rentals, recreational vehicle park, boat rentals and trout fishing. All of the cabins are fully equipped and furnished, each sleeping between two and eight people. Most cabins don t include a television set. Buildings at the resort date back to the early 1900s. The original proprietor Roy Carson set up Carson Camp in 1916 when some friends in Pasadena wanted a place to go fishing every summer.
