History

Since 2009, So Diego has been entertaining guests on our historic food and drink tours to give guests an insider's perspective on the city. Founder, Bianca Beale, was a social butterfly in the Gaslamp Quarter, frequenting restaurants and bars during happy hours, hopping from one venue to the next for her favorite dishes and cocktails. She loved experiencing a little bit at each venue, knowing she'd run into friends at each place. She realized she had become a bit of an insider in the area, and loved running into visitors so that she could help them navigate their time in her home town. She has a strong passion for her city, and believes that the only way to explore a new city is through getting to know the locals. She decided to start a food and drink tasting tour in the Gaslamp, and since then, has been leading groups throughout San Diego!
